2016 National Apprentice Contest

The Carpenters’ National Apprenticeship Contest was held in Edmonton, Alberta on August 18- 21, 2016, and Local 18 was very proud to be sending one of our own to compete.

Local 18 member Erik Van den Breemen competed in the Drywall portion of the Contest, consisting of a three hour test on Friday morning and also an 8 hour module to follow on Saturday. When all was complete, Erik successfully captured the win for Drywall.

CONGRATULATIONS to Erik V. on representing your province and Local 18 Hamilton/Niagara extremely well in both competitions! Way to go!
