Mohawk College offers a Basic Welding course (Course # WELD 10073) that is a great option for our members to take. Course description as listed on Mohawk Continuing Education:

“Basic Welding– Develop skills as a hobbyist or explore a new career with this introductory course for the beginner welder. Provides instruction on basic welding theory and hand-on practical welding skills. Helmets will be provided. Materials included. Students must supply their own safety glasses with side shields, safety boots and welding gloves”
