Due to the current Provincial requirements in place to reduce Covid-19 numbers from increasing, some of our Local 18 staff will be working from home periodically and not available at the office. Should you need to reach a staff member, please reach out to them via phone (leave a voicemail) or via email, and they will get back to you as soon as possible. Business Reps and Organizers will be on the road everyday and available by cell and email as well.
Please note that our offices remain closed to walk-ins. No members or general public will be allowed access to the main offices, only the back lobby area in the Hamilton Benefits office. Your understanding is appreciated in this.
Onsite training and other programs are also currently on hold until the Provincial government allows groups of 10 or more to be in an area at the same time. Online courses such as GH WHMIS, Confined Space and Power Elevated Platform are available online if you sign up for them on the Local 18 Members Training Portal.
