Please note that with the Local 18 office closures and local/provincial restrictions currently in place, we will not be running any on-site training and upgrading courses for the forseable future at Local 18. Local 18 Office Closures-Effective Immediately

Ontario will be entering a province wide shutdown effective December 26, 2020. To do our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the health & safety of the community and our employees, Local 18 has closed our offices to public access until further notice. Please note that staff will be available by phone, email and in person by appointment only. Please ensure you leave a detailed message if you require a call back from staff.

Local 18 Hamilton Office Front Lot & Entrance Closure

Please note that the Local 18 Hamilton office front parking lot and main entrance are temporarily closed due to renovations. Please proceed to drive around to the back of the building, and enter in the Benefits office entrance to access the building.

Reminder: All visitors to visit Local 18 buildings must adhere to the following procedures, or entrance will be denied: wear a face covering for the length of their stay, sanitize hands upon entrance and after touching any additional surfaces, record their visit in the log book, as well as temperature check.

December 2020 Vacation Pay Procedure

Local 18 Membership / Permit Members:

Please be advised that due to current Covid-19 health crisis and social distancing/gathering restrictions, Local 18 will be MAILING all Vacation Pay cheques for the upcoming December payout.  All cheques will be placed in the mail on December 4th to the address we hold on file for members receiving a payment. If you have moved recently and require a change of address we must have your address change before November 30th; to do so please log into the Local 18 Members Portal online and update your address (Local 18 members), or contact either hall to advise of your change of address (permit members).

We kindly ask that you please do not arrive at either hall in an attempt to pick up your cheque in person, as we are not holding any cheques for in person pickup. Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you a safe and healthy Holiday Season this year.

July 2020 Vacation Pay Procedure
